Jewell to Astoria

Cruising through Jewell and onto Astoria- I love that ride.  One of these days I have to stop at the waterfalls between the two.

Last Monday I drove out to see the elk via Vernonia, Mist, Jewell and then onto Astoria.  I have not even looked at or thought about photos since the election results the next day.  Just about every single person I know is devastated.  Those that are not devastated- we don't want to talk to.  YET.  Luckily, I don't know too many of them.  Anyway, here's to art and photography and creativity!!  Keep on keeping on,,, when the going gets tough, the tough get going. #nastywomengetshitdonepdx

Boardman Tree Farm

I have seen tons of photos from Boardman lately and it's a place I have always wanted to go.  I have driven by it on a couple of trips but never stopped.  Its days as a tree farm are numbered and there are less trees there than years ago.  I stopped at 4 separate forests- so cool!  I probably took 250 photos total- these are all taken with Lensbaby Plastic Optic- one of my all time faves.
